To simply say that it has been an absolute privilege serving as mentor would not do the program justice. It was amazing to see how the Girls Talk Back program provided a safe, vulnerable and powerful space for youth to explore issues they were experiencing or witnessing and gave them the tools to take action. I am inspired by the strength and confidence the program has given the youth, and hopeful for our future because the participants walked out of there ready to take on the world.
